Historic Restoration & Exterior Painting: Hamlet of Clermont, N.Y.

We replaced all of the rotten wood on this historic home on route 9 in the hamlet of Clermont, NY. Made some new columns out of pressure treated lumber. Then we scraped all of the failing paint from all of the Exterior painted surfaces as well as sanding with orbital sanders to remove some more paint and to blend all of the surfaces together.

We back primed all of the lumber that we installed & did a complete oil prime to the exterior of the home. Finally we top coated with two coats of a high quality exterior paint.
