Painting Plus was founded in Rhinebeck NY by James S. McCormick in 1996, Since then the company has grown to include Historic Restoration Services and is now called Painting + Restoration, Ltd.

 Previously James was trained and employed by J. B. Drywall in Staatsburg NY.

James is Currently the Second Vice President of the Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce. Last year he was the Director of Seasonal Advertising.

James is also the president of 360CreativeSolutions / HostedBy360.com - A web hosting & search engine marketing company located in the Hudson Valley.
